Tokonatsu 2014
Just incase you all forgot on the 31/7/14 “For all you early birds” Tokonatsu 2014 will be held at the Boyd Memorial Campsite in Bedfordshire,
for some of you this will be the first time on the new grounds 🙂
The Tokonatsu Camping Japanese Culture, Anime and Manga Festival is being held between Friday the 1st of August and Monday the 4th of August 2014 in the beautiful setting of Bedfordshire, England. During your experience at Tokonatsu you will be pitching your tents along side fellow fans, enjoying the food, and entertainment provided.
It is a unique festival within UK anime scene in which we all gather to discuss and enjoy Anime, Manga and Japanese Culture in the great outdoors. At Tokonatsu there will be a variety of events including, Cosplay Masquerade, “The Quiz”, DDR and the always popular Otaku Royal (both versions!).
After running for the first time at our new venue in 2013, we have been invited back to run there once more and we will be celebrating! With all the hardships that we had to go through as an event, committee, staff, gophers and all the attendees, a lot of us missed out. So we are back to celebrate again, and this time we are to celebrate our 10th running of an Anime, Manga and Japanese Culture Festival! Remember we are still up for any suggestions for ways to celebrate, so make sure you get in touch!
The festival is open to the ages of 13 and above, though under 16’s will require parental consent before they can attend. These forms will be sent out after you register.
